Returns & Exchanges:

Due to the limited and random nature of trading card products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for our trading card boxes, cases, and/or packs.  All sales are final. If you receive cards that you believe are defective, please contact info@cardsmiths.com.

If your order is lost, we will work with the shipping company to try and locate the order and ensure that it is safely delivered to you.  If for some reason your shipment cannot be located, we may replace your order, at our discretion, with identical items or offer a refund or credit if identical items cannot be offered.

Customers found to be filing frivolous or fraudulent chargebacks will have their account closed and will no longer be allowed to purchase our products or participate in any redemption programs, as well as forfeiting any remaining loyalty program points.

Trading Card Condition and Replacement Policy

We strive for the highest level of quality and condition for all our trading card sets.  That is why we use premium materials and have strict guidelines that our printing partners are required to follow.  Due to the nature of trading card printing, the sheer quantities of individual cards involved, and the machine process by which cards are sorted and fed into packs, there is no way to ever ensure that every card will be pulled from a pack in perfect condition and manufacturing defects can occur.

Manufacturing defects are defined as deep scratches, significant indentations, bubbling, or peeling lamination, missing or incorrect serial-numbering, improperly applied ink, or severe miscuts (greater than 85/15).  If you feel you have received a card from a pack with a clear manufacturing defect, please send a description and images of the card(s) in question to info@cardsmiths.com.  All cards submitted for evaluation will be replaced on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Cardsmiths.  Any replacement decisions made by Cardsmiths shall be final.

For serial-numbered cards that have manufacturing defects, they will be repaired or replaced as able.  In the case of a replacement card being issued for a serial-numbered card, the original will be destroyed to maintain population integrity.  If a serial-numbered card cannot be replaced like for like, a substitute card of similar rarity may be offered in its place.  Substitute cards are chosen at random by Cardsmiths’ staff.  We cannot accept requests for specific substitute cards, artwork, or serial-number.

Please note that we will not replace cards based solely on condition or suitability for grading.  Examples of condition-based issues include, but are not limited to, soft or slightly bent corners, slight edge wear, nicks, or fraying, minor or moderate off-centering (less than 80/20), light surface hazing or roller graining, and curling.

Collation, Randomization, & Pack Odds

Each set we produce is randomized based on the total number of cards and variations in the set.  Randomization is determined by a collation plan, which is a blueprint (or roadmap) for determining which cards go into each pack based upon their type and rarity level.   The collation plan also determines the ratio of pack types that go into each inner case and/or each master case, if applicable.

Individual pack odds are based on the optimal execution of each set’s collation plan.  However, no system is perfect, and as such, we cannot guarantee specific pack odds or pull rates of specific cards or card types from packs.  We work closely with our printing partners to ensure the utmost adherence to the collation plan to provide the most even distribution of all possible cards.

Cryptocurrency Redemption Programs:

Many of our trading card products offer the potential for collectors to find specific cards that can be redeemed for cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin.  Specific details and instructions on how to redeem these specially marked cards can be found on our website at www.cardsmiths.com by selecting the redemption program indicated in the “Redemption Programs” drop down menu.

All cards sent in as part of the redemption program become the property of Cardsmiths, LLC and will not be returned to the customer.  Instead, you will be sent the materials necessary to receive your cryptocurrency funds.  For any questions related to our redemption programs please contact redemptions@cardsmiths.com.

Trading Card Redemption Programs:

From time to time, we may offer opportunities for collectors to exchange certain Cardsmiths trading cards for limited edition cards or other promotional items.   These programs are voluntary and generally available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cards sent to us for redemption or exchange purposes become the property of Cardsmiths, LLC and will not be returned to the customer.

Cardsmiths is not responsible for trading cards that are sent to us for redemption purposes prior to their delivery to Cardsmiths.  As such, we highly recommend that you ship your cards via a trusted carrier, such as UPS, FedEx, or the United Statues Postal Service with a tracking service provided as well as insurance and/or a signature requirement.

Checklists:

For each set, we will provide collectors with a checklist of the cards that are able to be found in packs.  In some cases, we will delay disclosure of certain cards in order to allow those cards to be found in packs before announcing their inclusion with a set.  As such, we will make revisions to the published checklist at our discretion.  These checklists should be considered a guide to each set rather than the absolute or definitive list of each card in a particular set.

Proof Sets, Printing Sheets, Printing Plates & Uncut Sheets:

For each trading card set produced, we (generally) create five (5) complete sets that we will refer to as “Proof Sets”.  These Proof Sets include all cards and card types/variations from a given set.   All cards in a Proof Sets are foil-stamped with the word “PROOF” on the back of each card.

Proof cards are used in several applications including, but not limited to, pre-production quality control evaluation, marketing images, contests, replacements*, corporate or VIP gifts, etc.  Cardsmiths does not offer Proof Sets for sale to the public.

We will also produce uncut printing sheets for most trading card sets, as well as cut and labeled printing plates.  These items may be made available to the public through various contests, promotions, or redemption programs.

*Proof cards may be used as replacements if no suitable replacement can be found for a card containing a manufacturer defect.  Proof cards issued as replacements are at the sole and final discretion of Cardsmiths.

Customer Service & Abusive Language Policy:

Cardsmiths welcomes and appreciates all feedback from collectors about their experience with our products.  We will do everything within our ability to try and correct any problems with your order or our products in general.  If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback, please email us at info@cardsmiths.com

Customers who engage with our customer service representatives using abusive, profane, or threatening language will forfeit any further responses from our customer service team.
